Incumbent Joe Driscoll, a retired Fire Captain, has earned POB’s endorsement for all the valuable work he has done for SF City and County retirees during his 40 years on the SFERS Retirement Board. With his degrees in Finance (Joe has an MBA, CFA, and has served as an IAFF Trustee) Joe has served as a diligent fiduciary/trustee who helped bring our pension fund up to $39.1 Billion – a 98% funding level – and improved our Deferred Compensation Plan to $6.6 Billion for active and retired members.
