SAN FRANCISCO HEALTH SERVICE SYSTEM As you know October is Open Enrollment Month. If you have not received any information contact SFHSS, fast!! Their new phone number is 628-652-4700 and the toll-free number is 800-541-2266. Since this is Open Enrollment Month, there was no HSS Board Meeting.
SAN FRANCISCO EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (SFERS) For the 1st quarter of the fiscal year 2020-2021, SFERS investments gained 6.23%. Private Equity and Public Equity posted sterling returns of 12.26% and 9.46%, respectively. Economic conditions showed strong improvement. But uncertainty lingers over the Real Estate and Natural Resources industries during and post COVID. Real Estate has struggled this year to COVID’s impact on hotels and office properties, but other property investments such as logistics and storage have done well while residential demand in less dense cities and states with lower taxes has been high.
