SAN FRANCISCO HEALTH SERVICE SYSTEM: SFHSS Board had no meeting scheduled for July. The Director will be presenting its budget and prospective rates for 2021 to the Board of Supervisors. For more information visit the HSS website, myhss.org
*CORRECTED* SAN FRANCISCO EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (SFERS) Pending results for the Fiscal Year July 2019 to June 2020, thus far has a return of +2.19%. A more exact percentage will be available August. Still not bad in a COVID-19 world. The Fund sits at $25,899,978,000. In September, the Board, meetings will provide an analysis on the attribution of our returns. The attribution will conclude returns by sectors, country/region, and aspects specific to particular asset classes. The Board holds its monthly via SFGovTV, next meeting August 12, 2020.
PROTECT OUR BENEFITS BOARD: POB wants to thank you for your e-mails, letters, donations, and concerns. We try to address your needs or least try to direct them to the right dept. We do sometimes get discouraged by the walls we run into, lockdowns, COVID-19, and of course the political arena. But WE ARE STILL HERE! The one thing that is constant is change and with change we adapt the best way we can. Right now, we are entering the political season and we are watching closely, especially in the district supervisorial races. We will continue work for the betterment of retirees.
