YOUR CALLS & EMAILS TO SUPERVISORS ARE NEEDED NOW!

SAY ‘NO!’ TO BROKEN PROMISES

City retirees got thrown under the bus – again! 17,500 of us will be affected.

It’s now official. Despite our testimony this week about hardships a switch in plans would cause, City Hall has voted to downgrade our healthcare from the better and more flexible United Healthcare Plan and replace it with the inferior Blue Shield of CA.

We are hearing from hundreds of our members about their hard-luck stories:

  • Many members have doctors and specialists who don’t accept Blue Shield CA
  • Many retirees who now live out-of-state have no access to Blue Shield CA because it’s not even available in their state
  • Many of our special needs members who need in-home medications, infusions or care are terrified they will not receive it under the new plan
  • Many of our retirees are frightened about the unknowns of a switch in plans and what will be provided

Don’t let your elected get away with it. Many of us have given our lives and our health to this city. Say ‘NO!’ to broken promises.

Call and email Mayor London Breed and the entire Board of Supervisors today! Tell them your stories.
